Desert Springs Academy

All school board meetings will be held at 10129 E. Speedway Blvd. Tucson, Az 85748.

Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, Desert Springs Academy hereby states that all notices of the meetings of the school board will be posted at the front office of the school and on our website.

The school office is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Such notices will indicate the date, time, and place of the meeting and will include an agenda or information concerning the manner in which the public may obtain an agenda for the meeting.

We are very happy to announce that our new location will be open for this coming school year (2013-2014).

Desert Springs Academy is a state funded Charter School and is tuition free. We will be offering classes for the Grades K-8.

This location will offer Before & After School Programs as well as a Catered Lunch Program (UPDATED INFO COMING SOON!)

Salutations! I would like to begin with a brief introduction of who we are and what our educational program is.

Desert Springs Academy charter school was founded in 1999 as a quality alternative to the public school system. DSA provides rigorous instruction using the standards as a platform and leaping well beyond with enhanced curriculum.

Our philosophy incorporates “back to basics” with an accelerated classical education. With the use of technology and high standards students are allowed to achieve the uppermost level of success as an individual.

Our history of service to students in Tucson is excellent, our staff is exemplary and we strive continually to develop, integrate and implement new strategies for improvement.

Recently DSA was granted a renewal from the Arizona Department of Education for a term of 20 years. DSA is currently an “A” rated school from the Dept. of Education. We look forward to serving our community for a long time to come.

DSA will be hosting an open house in May so that parents can meet staff, view curriculum and ask questions date will be posted on webpage.
